Our Team
Patricia Lawrence Kolaras, Esq. is a dynamic leader with a unique combination of legal expertise, entrepreneurial vision, and a proven track record in intellectual property law. As the CEO of Media Asset Vault (MAV), Patricia is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and growth of the company, ensuring it remains at the cutting edge of media asset protection and monetization. Her leadership is instrumental in positioning MAV as a trusted partner for creators, artists, and businesses seeking to safeguard and maximize the value of their intellectual property.
Patricia's deep understanding of intellectual property law stems from her extensive experience as the Founder and CEO of The PLK Law Group, P.C., where she built a boutique law firm recognized for its focus on protecting and developing creative content as scalable business assets. Throughout her career, Patricia has successfully represented clients whose brands have garnered national exposure on platforms like The Oscars, Shark Tank, and The Voice. Her ability to structure complex contracts and protect intellectual assets such as trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets makes her uniquely equipped to lead MAV in an era where content is king. Under Patricia's leadership, Media Asset Vault is poised to capitalize on the growing demand for secure media asset storage and innovative monetization strategies. Patricia’s legal career began at SonyBMG Entertainment in New York City, where she worked in Legal & Business Affairs and Copyright departments, handling contracts for major artists signed to Arista, RCA, and LaFace Records. This early experience working with large-scale entertainment deals honed her skills in rights management and contract negotiations—skills that are critical to leading MAV’s mission to protect and unlock the value of media assets on a global scale. As an entrepreneur, Patricia understands the importance of scalability and profitability. She has successfully grown her boutique law firm by focusing on results-driven strategies that turn creative assets into profitable ventures. This business acumen is now at the core of Media Asset Vault’s operations, where she is building a company that not only secures intellectual property but also provides clients with tools to enhance their content's profitability through strategic licensing, distribution, and partnerships. Patricia is also a sought-after speaker and thought leader in the legal and business communities. Terry Stewart was the longest running President & CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to that, he served as President and COO of Marvel Entertainment in New York City before becoming Vice Chairman. While at Marvel, the company went public and Stewart was named CNBC Marketing Executive of the Year. Upon retiring from the Rock Hall, Terry took on the responsibility for Artist Relations and philanthropic activities at Gibson Guitar in Nashville. From there, he became the Chairman and CEO of El Dorado Festivals & Events (EFEI) in El Dorado, Arkansas. In this role, Terry led the efforts to create and build an $80 Million entertainment district that opened in 2017 with newly constructed facilities including an 10,000 capacity outdoor amphitheater. During his tenure, EFEI presented a broad line-up of entertainment: Brad Paisley, Migos, Train, X Ambassadors, Gucci Mane, Jimmie Allen, Smokey Robinson, Walk the Moon, Toby Keith, the Beach Boys and Jason Aldean. Terry’s not-for-profit work includes Governor on the Chicago Chapter of The Recording Academy, Vice Chair of the R&B Foundation, the Board of The US Committee for UNICEF, the Advisory Committee for a prospective National Museum of Hip- Hop in the Bronx, and until recently, a Director of the Austin City Limits Venture Group in Austin, Texas. Currently, he is on the Advisory Committee for the Summer Stage Concerts in Central Park and the board of The TJ Martel Foundation in New York. In Cleveland, Ohio, Terry is on the Board of Cleveland Rocks, The Diversity Center, and a new international theater festival, Borderlight. Terry received both his BS in Engineering and his BA in Education from Rutgers University, where he was given their highest honor by being inducted into their Hall of Distinguished Alumni in 2011. He also earned his JD in Law and his MBA in Finance at Cornell University.
William Lynch III Community Affairs The Son of Bill Lynch Jr., Founder of
Bill Lynch Associates. William Lynch III, President of Bill Lynch Associated Networks, he has more than 20 years of experience in local and national politics, city government, labor and media. William developed and produced community-sensitive media and advertising, including commercials for Hillary Clinton's campaign. Previously, he produced the 'A Political Talk" for Inner City Broadcasting. William worked for DC 37 - AFSCME, New York City's largest public employer union for over a decade, where he worked as an organizer, grievance representative and lead newsletter writer. William worked at the New York City Council, Member Service Division, as a liaison between the Speaker and members of the City Council. He has played an active role in several New York City mayoral campaigns, New York State-level races, as well as the last three Presidential cycles. William became a respected contributor for the Huffington Post with a focus on African- American culture, inequality and injustices taking place in the black community. Ruth Umoh is an Editor at Fortune, overseeing its C-suite and board coverage. She also serves as an on-air correspondent for the Washington Post Live. She was previously the Editor-in-Chief of The Filament, a news source for DEI leaders in tech. A veteran business journalist, she served as Forbes’ D&I Editor and was a CNBC reporter covering leadership strategy, corporate management, and equity issues prior. Ruth previously covered poliMcs at Rolling Stone and the New York Daily. She’s a graduate of the University of Maryland and received a master’s degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. She was also one of ten awardees for MIT Sloan's 2018 Digital Leadership scholarship. In 2021, she was named by Business Insider as one of the top 15 journalists who hold companies accountable for diversity efforts.

Grammy Nominated Song Writer ASCAP Pop Song Award Winner for the Jennifer Lopez Dance Hit “Waiting for Tonight”. He later formed his own music production company in NYC where he developed and signed several artists signing them to major labels such as, Bad Boy, Sony and A&M Records. To date his music has sold over 30 million units. He has since moved on to pursue other business interests. Over the last two decades he has worked closely with close friend and mentor Bill Lynch lll, President of Bill Lynch Associated Networks, a prominent New York Consulting Firm. In his role as an associate of BLAN he provided information related to diversity focusing on minority firms looking to do business with Fortune 500 Corporations, Government Officials, Key Corporate Executives, and Procurement Officers. He has consulted on several funding ventures in the private and public business sectors. Phil Temple attended the University of Pittsburgh.
Tom Sarig is a Grammy-winning & Juno-winning veteran of the music (records & publishing), film, synchronization, and brand partnerships businesses. Over Tom’s 25+ year career, he’s served as a Senior A&R executive at various major labels including Universal Records, Arista Records, MCA Records, and A&M Records, and has played a central role nurturing important & acclaimed music artists achieve breakthrough success and sell over 100 million of records, either as their manager or in a label/A&R capacity. Tom has shepherded the creative process of recording and visuals project development for many of the most important cultural acts of the day, working closely with The Roots, Nine Inch Nails, Erykah Badu, Blink-182, Gil Scott-Heron, Annie Lennox, Mos Def, and many others,
As an artist manager running his management and consulting firm Esther Creative Group, Tom closely steered the careers of acts such as Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame inductees Lou Reed, Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music, as well as Violent Femmes, Miranda Cosgrove, Rickie Lee Jones, CAKE, and many other. During this period, Tom has also produced a number of feature films, having served as Film Producer for two acclaimed feature films, Red Shirley and Lou Reed’s “Berlin”, (both Sundance entrees and sold to Weinstein Co) and Tom served as Producer for MTV’s annual television special on his Shortlist Music Prize . Tom founded the branding company Esther Branded Entertainment, which has represented renowned music artists, celebrity chefs and cultural arts festivals, and has brokered deals between luxury brands and cultural figures, as well as spearheaded the launch of a premium vodka brand, a tequila brand, and developed two fragrance deals with major clients. AntiFragile Music is Tom's current label venture, and was established in 2017 as a hopeful effort of collaboration and transparency for important cultural music artists in today’s music landscape. AntiFragile has in a few short years distinguished themselves as a curator label and distributor for distinguished independent music artists. AntiFragile Music is committed to educating and inspiring music creators, and to disrupting established models of label and distribution for streaming and consumption of music. AntiFragile’s marketing expertise is developing and executing a sophisticated social media marketing plan unique to the act, and in developing a comprehensive film & TV sync plan for the acts, which in turn drive the building of a devoted fanbase and in turn create enduring longevity for the act. For almost 15 years, Tom has also owned and run a publishing administration company (with publishing entities at ASCAP, BMI and SESAC) through partners Kobalt Music, providing admin and creative services for songwriters, and providing a focused effort in terms of pitching for Film, Television, and TV Commercial Synch opportunities. Tom received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University Of Maryland's Robert H Smith School of Business and worked as a Senior International Tax Consultant at Deloitte and Touch before entering the music business. Tom serves on the Board Of Advisors for U.S. Friends Of Tel Aviv University. |
